January 2024 –
We are over the moon to have received £500 making it possible for us to offer access to disability sports in Dumfries, including football, boccia, badminton and multi-sports.
We would like to thank everyone concerned for this Magic Little Grant from Localgiving and People’s Postcode Trust, a grant-giving charity funded by players of People’s Postcode Lottery. Their support means such a lot to our attendees.

With this funding, we have been able to fund an amazing 200 sessions of sports for our attendees which has given them great opportunities for improving their mental and physical health as well as team social interaction with their peers.
We have also been lucky enough to secure funding from the Holywood Trust who have kindly supported us in employing an extra part-time member of staff. This has allowed us to grow to a team of 6 staff, without whom we wouldn’t be in a position to offer more client spaces.

Our 100 Miles in March Walking Challenge
Just before the start of March 2023 we decided that we would like to raise money for Dumfries & Galloway Mental Health Association – www.DGMHA.org.uk.
We chose to do this by challenging ourselves to walk 100 miles in the month of March. As a group, we actually walked 767 miles between us!!! A massive achievement for our amazing gang. The photo above shows us receiving specially printed t-shirts from DGMHA.
We raised £300 to go towards offering much needed support to the mental health of everyone in Dumfries & Galloway.
