Of course, in working with vulnerable people, it goes without saying, that we are all fully PVG checked through Disclosure Scotland for both children and adults.
We all bring to the table different backgrounds and experiences of working in this field and are all passionate about ensuring that the people we work with are happy, benefit from accessing our service, have choice and can grow in confidence and self-esteem alongside their friends and peers.

Founder/Manager
Tammy set up Solway Support in September 2022, we converted it to Solway Disability Support which is a Community Interest Company with a board of 7 directors, in April 2023.
Zara
Support Worker
Zara joined the team full-time at the end of September 2022.She has a wealth of experience and an excellent rapport with our clients. She has 2 dogs and soon to become a mummy.
Alison
Support Worker
Alison joined us on a part-time basis in November 2022. She also has a wealth of experience having worked at Langlands School and Lockerbie Learning Centre. She and her husband run a dairy farm and have 2 sons.
Roukan
Support Worker
Roukan joined us in December 2023. She is a great asset to the team, is from Syria, has a husband and 3 children.
Alli
Support Worker
Alli joined us in February 2024. She has experience in group support and as a P.A. for individuals. She has a dog and is a keen gardener.
Glenn
Support Worker
Glenn joined us in June 2024. He has particular experience in Autism and knows many of the individuals in our local disabled community through his son.
